No Problem: A little mole or freckle (medical term:nevus) on the iris is very common. As long as it is not growing or changing, it will not be a problem. It is extremely rare to have any problem with such a mole. Do mention it to your eye md next visit.

Maybe: It may be an iris nevus (freckle). You should specifically address this with your eye doctor so they can more closely examine you and determine what it is.
