Dental eval: There a a couple of things that this can be. If it is behind her last teeth, then it could be a permanent molar erupting and you don't need to worry about this. If it is anywhere else you should take her to a dentist to have it checked for infection or abcessed tooth. Please help your child brush her teeth. At 5 she still needs to have help brushing and flossing to develop good life long habit.
