Could be: Sudden discontinuation of high doses of antidepressants typically leads to a variety of unpleasant sensations on the part of patients who stop the antidepressants and feeling jittery falls in the range of expected symptoms. Try to keep up with the dose as much as you can to minimize the experience of this! having said this, it could be driven by expectations in part as well! stay safe!

Probably withdrawal: I agree with most of dr. Tapia's comments, above. Keep in mind that 200 mgs of trazodone is not a high dose, but actually, a modest dose. My practice, which falls comfortably within the recommended dosing guidelines, tends to prescribe 300 - 600 mgs daily for patients with major depression. If a patient misses a dose, they will most likely experience some mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms.

Most likely not: Some people report feeling jittery missing a dose of any of the short-acting antidepressants. Our brains have difficulty adjusting to the sudden fluctuations in neurotransmitter levels. Just try to be more consistent. No danger if you miss a dose, however.
