Since htp is a supplement, I don't know if the FDA has any official information about it. There is a wide range of doses. It should not be used with many antidepressants and I have seen one warning about it interacting with trazodone rarely causing a serious condition called serotonin syndrome. Ask your pharmacist about using it with trazodone. I advise against its use with 150 mgs of trazodone
