Thigh bruising: Bruising is very rare with wellbutrin (bupropion) -- about .1-1%. This makes it unlikely, but still possible, that her bruising is related to wellbutrin (bupropion). Depending on where the bruising is, one might consider accidental injury or still other causes. Is this on any other part of her body? Hoping she speaks to her physician about this. Bruising with ssri: Some people can have bruising with ssri antidepressants as serotonin is on platelets. I haven't seen bad bruising and would advise further evaluation to see it another problems is occurring. Also avoid Aspirin and other ansaids (flurbiprofen).
