Yes: If you take a medication such as aspirin or a blood thinner such as coumadin that interacts with the antidepressant you are taking ans can cause bleeding such as gi bleeding. You may be better off if switched to a non ssri antidepressant by your doctor. Your doctor can taper you off from you current medication and put you on a non ssri antidepressant.
