Need exam: It is possible the ligaments didnt heal completely or peroneal tendon sliped out its groove. Need exam by your doc and maybe mri.

Many things: You may be dislocating or subluxing a tendon ( e.g. Peroneal tendons on outside f ankle). It may represent instability of hte ankle. It may be the result of a tendon injury /tendonitis. See ortho doc for help if it persists or inhibits normal activities.
