Yes: Achilles tendon reconstructions can enable one to regain push off strength required for playing golf. It usually entails transfering a tendon/muscle unit (usually the flexor hallicus longus) and potential an allograft for the gastrox and soleus muscles. Running after same is unlikely but sometime possible.
