See below : There are a number of possibilities (usually not worrisome) and without looking at the patches and getting a history, a guess would be premature. I would see your doc for an exam.

Hard to say : Without seeing them and more history.There are a lot of skin rashes , hypopigmentation in little ones that are benign and self limiting. Best to have it looked at , if concerning.
