I'm taking Prilosec (40mg) for grade b esophagitis.still get reflux but no burning. Now have sore, aching pain on left side beneath ribs & in center of chest.Went to urgent care. Doc said cause likely esophagitis. How long will this last? :?
Have lrp, taking Prilosec qd, can't drink decaf tea or coffee. Why? Thought it was caffeine that made acid worse.

What's the difference between acid reflux and erosive acid reflux? I usually get chest pain if i don't eat within an hour of taking prilosec.
I take Prilosec and Zantac (ranitidine) for acid reflux problems, my symptoms r better(chest,etc)But when I take Prilosec it seems it gets hard for me to swallow.
