Is it normal to burn from reflux in the chest for a straight 24 hours even when on prilosec for 2 weeks. not drinking caffene or alchohol no appetite?

Burning from reflux: Lying down excessively will cause added acid spill, make sure you are on a proper diet by avoidinding fried foods it may take up to a month for your ppi to work. Also you may need to increase dose of ppi. Admittedly failures can occur but give it more time.

What's the difference between acid reflux and erosive acid reflux? I usually get chest pain if i don't eat within an hour of taking prilosec.
I take Prilosec and Zantac (ranitidine) for acid reflux problems, my symptoms r better(chest,etc)But when I take Prilosec it seems it gets hard for me to swallow.
