A member asked:

My rest bpm used to be 50-70. after 5mg norvasc (amlodipine) for a month or so, bpm is 100-130. i excercise alot. what could be going on? i'm 18 male, frustrated.

Confusing: Your heart rate should not be higher with amlodipine (norvasc). If your resting heart rate is now 110-130 bpm, you should be reevaluated, to make sure there is not something else wrong.
