How is it neg?: ANA strongly positive, with multiple symptoms that are consistent with autoimmune disease (likely lupus based on info provided); response to meds used to rx autoimmune disease. Sounds like autoimmune disease.

How common is seronegative lupus? i have malar rash, joint/muscle pain, fatigue, tinnitus, fasciculations etc. but all rheum tests neg/normal
Saw rheum for malar rash, joint pain, muscle pain, fatigue. he ran FBC, ENA, ANA, CK Enzyme, Complement. all normal/neg so he said no lupus. confused?
