I've been taking a hcg drop that claims to be hormone free, but it tested positive on a pregnancy test. can i get a false positive from taking these?

No: Hcg is a hormone so if your is hormone free then you are not taking hcg. Hcg would be destroyed by the acid in your stomach anyway. Congratulations! you are most likely pregnant.
