I recently got a sinus infection about 2 days ago. i've been taking benadryl (diphenhydramine) for it. its the third day and my entire body hurts and i have a cough.

Rx not benadryl (diphenhydramine): If truly sinus infection there is no effect by benadryl, (diphenhydramine) an antihistamine. Sinus infections need to be treated with appropriate antibiotics. Body ache could be related to systemic effects of infection.
