Doctor referred me to an ent due to an abnormally enlarged gland in my neck now i'm freaking out thinking i have cancer what should i do?

Relax: Every enlarged gland in neck is not a cancer you are being refereed to ENT as it is their domain. Let them check out . Most of these conditions are very benign.

See the ENT: There are many reasons a for a lymph node to be enlarged besides cancer. Please get evaluated by as recommended by your primary doctor to rule out cancer, find the cause, and get the right treatment if any is needed.
