Esophageal stricture: This sounds like food is catching in your esophagus. This can be caused by a variety of problems such as reflux esophagitis with stricture, damaged innervation of the esophagus, or other causes of a stricture. A video-esophagogram performed by a radiologist can clear this up. This might need to be followed by endoscopic evaluation of the esophagus. See your primary doctor.
