Get a Diagnosis: You need to see a doctor for a diagnosis with a biopsy. A small piece of tissue will be taken and sent to a lab that stains the tissue and looks at it under a microscope to see what is growing. Without a diagnosis, treatment can not be properly made. If the lump is small enough, it maybe be removed during the biopsy. With larger lumps, a small part is removed. Best of luck -- see a doctor soon!
