Migraine?: Temporary vision loss in the form of a scintillating or fortification scotoma is a component of classic migraine. Sexual abuse in a 10 year old is a stressor consistent with hysterical blindness. Dilated fundus exam and neurological evaluation is indicated. If no cause is identified, psychiatric consultation may be indicated.
