Orthopedic specialis: If you're concerned about knee pathology, consult an orthopedic specialist for evaluation and advice. You may be falling because of your peripheral neuropathy. Your neurologist can advise you about this and about getting physical therapy and leg or ankle braces to aid in gait and balance.
