Probably not: Most people who get HIV or hepatitis from needle sticks are using syringes which have a hollow bore. The chance of contracting a disease from a solid bore needle like the ones used for sewing, especially being so small, is incredibly low and almost zero. I don't believe there have ever been any reported cases of this happening.
