How long before bed time should one take seroquel (quetiapine) xr 100 mg for insomnia?

See below: Best time is to take it about 12 hours after you want to get up. During the first week of usage there is more sleepiness and that subsides to a more manageable level later.

12 hours before AM: Most of my patients tell me they take their xr seroquel (quetiapine) ~ 12 hours before they want to wake up. Then they move it later into the evening if this wasn't quite right.
