Probably hormonal.: I'm not sure what you mean by "tropical acne", but most cases of acne are caused by increased testosterone production, which causes increased oil production, which overwhelms the oil duct, leading to clogging, and then acne. Other hormones are probably involved as well. Exercise and sweat can make it worse, but is not the cause. It is nearly always treatable. See a dermatologist!

This is very serious: If you're missing school because of acne -- and I'm going to assume the diagnosis is correct, whatever "tropical" means -- then this is an urgent situation and you need to get with your personal physician, now. All acne is manageable nowadays. It's not lifestyle related or due to any bad habits, but if it's severe, you're going to need prescription-strength Rx -- probably a combination Rx.
