Possible side effect: Zoloft (sertraline) can occasionally cause chest muscles to feel tight and feel like shortness of breath. Rarely causes bronchial constriction but anything is possible. Anxiety is, of course, a common cause of feeling short of breath. Would consider another ssri and don't forget psychotherapy/ behavior therapy.
