Not chronic/ CIDP: Cidp, the chronic relapsing form of guillain-barre syndrome, requires relapses or worsening symptoms after the initial attack. Experiencing sensory loss months after the initial inflammatory attack of gbs means your nerves haven't completely healed; they may yet heal, but additional IV Immune Globulin (ivig) probably won't help at this point. Rehab, possibly vitamins, & aerobic exercise will help.

Let's assess.: If all that persists is tingling, then your healing process has gone well, and soon, that will disappear also. If your weakness were to recur, or your sensory problems magnify, it would be time to get reassessment and a new emg, and even lumbar puncture, as then we could consider cidp. Ivig is not appropriate or helpful for your symptoms.
