They may shrink : Everyone had hemorrhoid veins. When such veins become inflamed, swollen, itching, bleeding, protruding/prolapsing or thrombosed then known as hemorrhoidal disease or complicated hemorrhoids. Sitz baths, avoiding prolonged sitting or straining on toilet, excessive wiping or irritating tp, topical ointments can all relieve symptoms when mild. New pills may help (vasculera).
