Prevention helps!: Sleep hygiene = 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, preferably the same 8 hours every night. Smoking cessation (tobacco is a common trigger & aggravating factor for migraines). Adequate hydration, at least 64 ounces of water each day. Exercise & sun exposure routinely. Moderation of caffeine intake, 5 cups of coffee or less per day. Stress reduction. Hope this helps, and good luck!
