Best options: Join local toastmasters. Have family doc prescribe beta-blocker if not contraindicated , then get out there and be yourself. If this does not work, cognitive therapy or seeing a psychiatrist can be beneficial.

Therapy and skills: Understanding what your stage fright is about is important in finding a solution. Your anxiety can be addressed successfully in therapy along with practical skills that involve public speaking. A psychologist can help you get to the root of your fears making for a long-term solution to your struggles. Medication could help but may not be necessary. A therapist can help you figure this out. Be well.

Steps+Much Practice: Imagine different groups of people/audiences -people u think likely 2 judge ur performance (a) very critically; (b) somewhat critically; (c) neutrally; (d) somewhat uncritically; and (e) very uncritically. Practice speaking 2 each type of audience (one or more people), working your way up from the least to the most critical. Once you feel comfortable with one person/group, graduate 2 next level.
