2-6 wks : A nasal fracture is the most common facial fractures and is common in contact sports. There is usually pain and deformity and often bleeding . Treatment will consist packing the nose to prevent further bleeding and correcting the deformity. Participation in contact sports needs to be restricted from 2-6 weeks unless the fracture can be protected by a shield or face mask.
