Not per se: Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can affect multiple organs or body system/areas. Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach. Gerd is gastroesophageal reflux disease. Someone with lupus could have gastritis and/or gerd but lupus would not likely be the cause. Autoimmune gastritis does occur but rare. Medications to treat lupus could predispose to gastritis or aggravate gerd.
