Yes : Upper and lower teeth should not be touching each other at all when relaxed. If they were before the adjustment then expect any tmj/tooth symptoms to improve from this point forward.

No touching at rest: The only time teeth should touch is when you are eating. They should not touch when you are at rest, with your jaw held in a normal position. When you close in a normal position and your teeth touch, they should touch with even forces, not one hitting harder than the rest.

Yes it is normal: Teeth should not touch while at rest. Teeth should only touch while chewing foods. And the bite adjustments that you had is to ensure that your teeth touch evenly while chewing and touch lightly or don't touch at all during rest.

Jaw at rest: When your jaw is at rest, there is normally a small space between your upper & lower teeth. When you eat & swallow, your teeth do touch. When one has tooth or jaw pain or has recently undergone dental treatment it is not uncommon to be more aware of such issues & that makes it difficult to relax & judge these relationships.I would give it some time, forget about it, & see ur dentist if any problem.
