I had a hernia repaired with mesh which was later removed. i think i re-ruptured the same hernia. what does the constant burning in the area mean?

May need followup: Depending on the type of hernia repair and the circumstances, constant burning in the area could mean a number of things and not necessarily a recurrence. If burning does not resolve its best to follow up with your surgeon and have it checked out.

See a doctor: You need a physical examination. Possibilities include hernia has recurred at the prior surgical site, scar tissue with nerve pain, etc. Cannot tell without an exam.
