Implanon: Implanon (etonogestrel) is an extremely effective hormonal form of birth control because once it's implanted in your arm, assuming you weren't pregnant at time of procedure and that insertion was timed appropriately (see http://www.Drugs.Com/dosage/implanon.Html). Simple home pregnancy test can prove if you're pregnant or not. So can ultrasound.

Yes : While the Nexplanon is a highly effective form of contraception, if you have missed menses and are experiencing increased abdominal girth, please obtain a pregnancy test and see your gynecologist. It is also possible that you were pregnant before the Nexplanon good luck.
