Could be: Nexplanon/Implanon is a highly effective implantable contraceptive. Effective for 3 years. most common side effect is irregular periods in about 25% of users. can range from no periods to daily bleeding or spotting. Breakthrough bleeding can be treated with birth control pills or estrogen but the bleeding often recurs. Weight changes, usually gain, can occur. Mood changes are not uncommon.
