Pain relievers such : As acetominophen (tylenol), Ibuprofen (motrin), Naproxen (aleve) are all good choices as long as you have no allergies or sensitivities to these. If the wound is still trying to bleed, acetominophen is your better choice as it will not "thin" the blood as the others can and contribute to bleeding.
