Agree w Dr. Nichol: Dicyclomine (Bentyl) Is an anticholinergic antispasmodic medication. It reduces smooth muscle spasm in treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. It can used as an adjunctive treatment for conditions like diverticulitis, colitis, regional enteritis, etc.
