Ignore it: There are crypts or holes in the tonsils, and the tonsils do their job of getting rid of bacteria and excreting the combination of dead bacteria and white cells - hence the white spots. Ignore them if you are concerned about breath you can use pulsatile irrigation that is designed to remove that material. Breath. More at www.Grossaninstitute.Com no need to remove tonsilts.

Gargling: What you have is called tonsillolith, also known as tonsil stone or tonsillar calculus. Small tonsillolith are common and produce no symptoms, but large one may produce pain when swallowing. They appear to result from the accumulation of material retained within the tonsillar crypts, along with the growth of bacteria and fungi or yeast. Gargling salt water or lemon juice may help.
