cow glands: Yes, bovine adrenal extract is from the glands of cows that are slaughtered. They are ground up tissue, and will have some blood in it, along with all the other junk that was in those cows who were getting killed. Why would you take bovine adrenal extract? If someone told you that you have "adrenal fatigue", please read the many answers on healthtap about this.
