Nothing: I have patients ask how to get a dark limbal ring. Apparently it is the new fashion. Where iris meets the sclera, the iris does not stop as people assume it continues even darker to ciliary body. In light eyes a dark limbal ring is reflection of the dark uvea under corneo-scleral junction. Thick limbal ring contact lenses are a recent fashion started in japan.
