Umm, hard to say.: There is really nothing specific about the rash you describe for your son that gives us a clue as to what exactly is going on medically. A cough with a rash conjures up all sorts of possibilities....Does he have fever? Does the rash go away--or is it persistent? Is the rash itchy?... Is it smooth or rough? ...As you can see, there are too many questions unanswered. See your pediatrician soon.
