Close to menopause: May be you are getting menopausal symptoms. Women get menopause between 45-55 years. The monthly periods become scant and irregular before they stop. If you found the cyst on the ovary on pelvic ultrasound, just repeat the test again to confirm if the cyst had changed in size. Most of the times its the corpus luteam (sac containing the ovum - normal during ovulation).
