A member asked:

In a normal situation how many times does an infant go to toilet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It varies: Babies, depending on whether they are primarily breast fed or formula fed, may have a bowel movement after every feeding, once or twice a day, or once every 2-3 days. As long as it is soft (mushy or like thick soup), it is normal. Call your doctor if the stool is usually hard balls or all water with no substance.
