It should not: Although Provigil is a stimulant of sorts, its chemical makeup is dissimilar to amphetamines and should not cause a false positive drug test.

NO: Provigil is an alerting medication. It is not an amphetamine. Drug tests are looking for particular chemical compounds. If the test comes back positive for meth, then the person used meth.
