What is the difference between amoxicillin and levofloxacin antibiotics?

Totally different: Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic. Levofloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic. They are chemically unrelated, have different modes of action against the bacterial cell and have different antibacterial spectrums of activity.
