Trouble: Your teeth should not be loose. You could have advanced periodontal disease. Go see your dentist as soon as possible.

Likely gum disease: Adults with a loose tooth, may have gum disease, also known as periodontal disease. It is an infection of tissue that hold your teeth in place, and as it progresses, it can severely damage your jawbone. Your teeth then have nothing solid to support them. Other potential causes of loose teeth are trauma and other physical stress including accidents, jaw-grinding with misaligned bite. See dentist!
