Dry socket: Did you just have a tooth extracted? If so you may have or be getting an infection, go back to your dentist for a consult.

Thanks for asking!: An ear ache can be an early sign of a dry socket. Dry sockets usually happen in the lower jaw which can produce severe throbbing pain. See your surgeon/dentist right away.
