No: I wouldn't say it's a good sign, but not necessarily bad either. If no pain, normal vision, and no yucky discharge you're probably fine.

Sounds like tearing: Could be due to anything from allergies, dry eyes, or an eyelash poking your eye. Could also be a blocked nasolacrimal duct. If its not excessive, there's nothing to worry about.
