Kehrs sign: Kehr's sign is an example of referred pain: irritation of the diaphragm causes pain in the area above the collarbone/shoulder. This is because the supraclavicular nerves (shoulder) have the same cervical nerves origin as the phrenic nerve (diaphragm), C3 and c4. 'mixing' of signals.
