Yes: Scoliosis surgery is possible at age 20. If your curve is greater than 50 degrees, surgery is often offered. Scoliosis curves greater than 50 degrees will progress at 1 degree a year. Curves greater than 90-100 degrees can impact respiration. That being said, the risks are not insignificant, and the surgery is completely elective.
