Probably not: A slightly elevated total IgA level is rarely significant by itself, and may result from recent infection or may just be your personal normal level. If the level so incredibly high that it is greater than all the other blood proteins, or if accompanied by recurrent or severe infections, then it could suggest a problem. If you have further questions, see your doctor or a clinical immunologist.
