Nothing bad: Iga is the amount of immunoglobulin a and it can be measured in the blood serum and less commonly in the saliva. While a low amount of serum IgA may predispose some people to recurrent infections, an elevated serum IgA is nothing to worry about. It means the person is making good amounts of antibody.
